What are the best Insurance Leads companies?

Prospecting is, of course, the key to this business. Over the years, I’ve tried about every type of lead generation. The only thing that really works and results in quality prospects is referrals. Lead programs are likely to just flush your money down the drain. Don’t get me wrong; you can probably get a return on the money you spend, but they won’t likely result in anything but one-time sales. You want to build clientele; you want to know more about how their kids are doing in school or what their hobbies are than you do about their height, weight, or driving history.

You need to make your clients understand that the way you get paid is not through commissions, but through growth in your business. Never enter an initial interview without a list of your prospect’s neighbors or others in the same business as him. Let him know that you intend to contact everyone on the list. Ask him who he knows on the list and if there is anyone who he would recommend you NOT contacting. Provided you make him subtly aware of your intentions, he has just given you permission to contact the rest with his name attached.
